In the United Kingdom, they’ve been celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week for several years. We would like to do our part in bringing that celebration to this side of the Atlantic Ocean.
The theme for this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is Growth Together. For us that means educational content for nannies and charges about growth mindset and resilience. We have a whole week of programming planned for the nannies of North Carolina.
And we have collaboration opportunities available for you!
1. Share information about Children’s Mental Health Week
Use the image above or simply share our Facebook post to get the word out and show yourself to be a partner in this endeavor. It is free and has high returns.
2. Post Positive Phrases to your Social Media
Take the week to encourage some neuro-linguistic programming through language that encourages growth and resilience. Here are some quick language substitutions that pay dividends. And you can teach them to the nannies in your network!
3. The Money Ask: Sponsor a printable deck of grounding cards.
Throughout the week, we are hoping to be able to give away one or more decks of printable grounding cards (they help nannies and charges come up with creative ways to regulate emotion; no growth can happen when dysregulated) to participants in our activities. We’d love to give you visibility by letting people know that you’ve covered the costs of the prize, and we’ll even let you determine winners. Visit this page to see the cards and the price points so you know how much we are asking you to spend, one deck is great and more than one deck is phenomenal.
4. The Zoom Ask: On Sunday we are hoping to have a movie night from 8 to 10 pm.
The movie will be related to the material and theme of the week. May we use your Zoom to host this online movie night? You’ll get full branding rights and a welcome and closing remarks opportunity. CLAIMED!
