Frequently Asked Questions

How much is attendance? Regular admission starts at just $35! However, we offer some amazing packages as well with even more goodies which can be found here.

Who should attend? Anyone interested in the topics is welcome to attend. Nanny or not, all are welcome!

When do I sign up for my preferred speakers? A sign-up email will go out to all those registered closer to the event date. At this time all you need to do is pick your package and tell all your friends and colleagues you are going!

What payment methods are accepted? For your ticket to National Nanny Training Day: Research Triangle Park, you may pay with any major credit card directly through our event manager. You may also mail in a check in advance of #NNTDRTP. Please note that all checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $35 fee; both the fee and the price of admission must be paid by non-check to keep your reserved seat.

What is the penalty for not submitting my payment after securing a ticket? Those electing to pay by check who do not submit payment for their ticket will be barred from all further North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies activities until they have submitted a Nonpayment Fee of $15 (either in cash or credit card) to reinstate their good standing. This is applicable even in cases where ticket holders are unable to attend.

Can I get a refund? Space is limited for this event so we will not offer refunds. We do, however, allow you to provide a proxy or substitute person to use your ticket(s) by emailing that name to registration@ncpan.org.

Can I sell my ticket if I cannot attend? Yes! Please contact us so we can make the change on our attendance list and have a certificate ready in the correct name. If you need assistance finding a buyer, contact us (registration@ncpan.org) to see if we have a waiting list.

What should I wear? You will be photographed for social media, so dress as if the world is watching! Bring a sweater, wrap, or a jacket in case it is chilly in the session room.

Do I need to print my ticket? Go green and bring a photo identification instead of printing your ticket! Printed tickets are, of course, accepted.

How do I contact the National Nanny Training Day Committee of the North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies? For general inquiries, send an email to nntd@ncpan.org. To offer your services as a presenter, fill out the presenter interest form located here. For registration questions or changes, send an email to registration@ncpan.org. For NC PAN members wishing to have FREE lodging with a local nanny (homestay), send an email to homestay@ncpan.org.

Is there parking available? The church does have a small parking lot and limited street parking available. We suggest carpooling though as we expect a large attendance and this will help cut back on possible overflow.

Will breakfast and/or lunch be provided? We will be providing breakfast and lunch, which is included in the price of your admission. Both meals will be catered by the Raleigh Raw.

Will there be hotel accommodations? For those who do not have an NNTD event in their area and wish to come to Raleigh, we are working on securing a discount on hotel rooms for the event weekend. We are also happy to provide a list of recommended AirBNBs in the area, if you wish to go that route instead. Get in touch!

If you are a member of the North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies, will be coming from out of town, AND are interested in staying overnight for the event, please let us know so we can help you take advantage of your FREE homestay perk of membership.
