As professional, well educated nannies, sometimes it is hard to get the compensation package that we deserve if we ask for it in just dollars in our pocket. Luckily, there are non-money benefits that get to count as part of our compensation package. These benefits are called “fringe benefits”. And even better, while they count as compensation, they aren’t taxed as income!
As part of your supporting membership in the North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies, you have access to a library document that lists those benefits. Print this list or otherwise share it with a your employers (or soon to be employers) so that you can find a compensation package that works for the both of you.
Downloading the document requires you to be in our Members Only Facebook Group, because it is a benefit of your membership. If you do not have a Facebook account, send an email to general@ncpan.org and one of our leadership team will reply by email with the document.
