On Wednesday, the 18th of November 2020, PBS will be airing a webinar designed for those of us who are distance learning facilitators in the home called “Make the Most of Learning at Home With PBS KIDS”.
We here at your North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies think that the price (free) is right and the information is timely and so want to encourage all of our members and the Friends of NC PAN to attend the webinar.
To attend, one only has to open the PBS Kids YouTube Channel at the appointed hour and watch the live stream.

However, for supporting members of the North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies, we will be hosting an encore viewing on Wednesday the 25th of November, starting at 6:30 pm, with a collaboration space for commentary and discussion. If you want to take advantage of this you will need the following technology: a web browser (preferably Chrome).
You will go to a webpage that looks an awful lot like Zoom in screen-share mode. There will be a chat function for typing chat, the capacity to turn on your camera and microphone, and a large space where the encore presentation of the PBS Webinar will be played, with sound. You are encouraged to eat your dinner while watching and collaborating with other NC PAN supporting member nannies. Spouses and housemates are welcome to look over your shoulder; they might learn something too!
We look forward to seeing everyone at one (or both) of the viewing sessions!
