FREE! Happy Family Conference [Online]

The Happily Family Conference is something we look forward to attending each year with eager anticipation ? because it is evidence- and science-based to provide data-driven parenting techniques and information. We will be hosting a follow-up review session to go over what the key take-aways were from the conference, and to compare notes with one another (we cannot all manage to attend every session, after all). If you aren’t a supporting member and want to attend the study session, there’s a unique opportunity for you! For THIS conference only, if you take a screenshot of your conference registration and send it to us, you’re in. That’s how much we believe this conference is beneficial to your career and upskilling!

Initially recommended to us by one of our member nannies (Nicole, we see you!) who attends every year, and having completely won over this writer, The Happily Family Conference is something we look forward to attending each year with eager anticipation ? because it is evidence- and science-based to provide data-driven parenting techniques and information.

This year, the theme is

Mindful Parenting and Emotional Wellness

and features five days of experts providing us with their wisdom.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Here is the pitch that Happy Family makes for what you will learn in the conference:

You will gather together with other parents and professionals who embrace a conscious and mindful approach to raising kids.

You will gather with others who know that in order to help kids be resilient, motivated, calm and connected, it starts with looking at ourselves.

The Happily Family Conference focuses on how to help kids cope with their anxiety, stress, anger, negativity, get along with others, and do their best. This event is also about looking inward toward ourselves, as well as outward to the kids.

During this 5 day event, you will see 25 interviews from some of the finest teachers, authors, researchers, and thought leaders in the world of parenting, mindfulness, and personal growth such as:

  • Dr. Daniel Siegel talks about Imperfect Parenting, Self-Awareness, and Repair
  • Dr. Kristin Neff talks about Self-Compassion
  • Dayna Abraham talks about Calming the Chaos of Everyday Family Life
  • Janine Halloran talks about Coping Skills for Kids with Stress, Anxiety, and Anger

Topics in this Conference include

  • Coping skills for kids dealing with worry, perfectionism, overwhelming feelings, or negative self-talk
  • Handling parenting triggers to lessen our own stress, frustration, and anxiety
  • How to support children when they’re struggling at school
  • Special topics like self-harm, suicide, gender-diverse kids, and being anti-racist
  • Healthy habits for screens and social media
